Wines, Ciders & Perrys

Even though we are a Real Ale Festival, we appreciate that not everyone likes real ale, and so we have sourced a good selection of wine, cider and perry for you to try. For those of you who are driving, we will also have a selection of soft drinks.

This year, as last year, the wines have been selected and sourced by Mr Dick Whitakker and the selection will be published shortly. We are very grateful to Dick for his continued knowledge and support of the Edgworth Real Ale Festival Wine Bar. This years white wine selection will include Chardonnay from Sicily, and a Pinot Grigio/Garganega blend from North East Italy. Our rose this year will be a slightly sparkling Brunella, whilst the red wine will be a Barbera d'Asti from North West Italy.

The cider and perry bar will be open again at the Festival, and the cider choice will include Jack Ratt, Weston's Old Rosie, Weston's Organic Special Vintage, Weston's Twist (a raspberry special edition!), Winkleigh Sam's Medium, and Sandford Orchard. We will also have Double Vision Impeared Vision perry.
